We strongly advise clients to read the
booking conditions in the applicable brochure. Persons who are not citizens of the United States or Canada may
require additional visas, passports, documentation, vaccinations or
inoculations. These are the passengers responsibility.
DEPOSITS
are as per brochures, usually $250 per person, which is due at time of booking.
Full payment is due 60 days prior to departure. Initial deposits are totally
non-refundable. We accept bank draft, cashier’s check, certified check and all
major credit cards. Please note that all tour operators reserve the right
to cancel tours where it is deemed there are not enough passengers
PRICES ARE assured
with initial deposits except in the case of unusual currency fluctuations and
acts of government including changes to air taxes implemented after the payment
of air tickets. If prices rise by more than 5% of the total package price the
option of canceling the tour without loss of deposit is available but is totally
at the discretion of Discovery Group Ltd and its ticketing agency.
AIRLINES
at all times reserve the right to change flight times or even cancel flights
without compensation. We will work diligently to re-book or re-arrange tours to
accommodate changes caused by airlines but cannot guarantee tours will run
exactly as scheduled. It is the travelers responsibility to verify flight
arrival and departure times for all flights.
TOURS.
We are not responsible for
strikes, closures of attractions, late deliveries, civil commotion, or third
party actions . We reserve the right to substitute hotels, airlines and other
services at our discretion. Tours commence with boarding of aircraft, where we
have provided airfare, and otherwise with motor coach boarding or check-in to
first hotel.
Tour Cancelations/Rescheduling
We
reserve the exclusive right to change or cancel itineraries, hotels, and other
tour components whenever it is deemed necessary.
Should change or cancelation prove necessary, we will give you
reasonable notice thereof, in the circumstances, and where available, offer you
a comparable alternative. If an alternative is not available or acceptable
you will be entitled to either a refund of monies paid by you to us or transfer
to another holiday without payment of any transfer fee. If an alternative
is not available or acceptable to you, you will be entitled to either a refund
of monies paid or transfers to another holiday or credit towards a future
purchase. These are totally at our discretion.
DOCUMENTATION
for travel is entirely the responsibility of the client. We accept no
responsibility for passports, visas, visitor cards, naturalization papers, work
permits, entry visas or other documentation and do not extend refunds for
passengers who fail to obtain proper documentation or lose/misplace documents.
TRAVEL INSURANCE
(deluxe coverage) is strongly advised for all minors, student travelers and
adults. Please don’t take chances with your finances, health and well-being.
PRICING
is available in Canadian dollar or United States Dollar equivalents and can vary
slightly with currency fluctuations. Tour pricing includes hotel taxes, local
taxes where applicable including VAT in Europe.
BAGGAGE ALLOWANCE
is restricted to one carry-on bag which meets current airline regulations and
one checked piece of baggage not to exceed 20 kilograms (44 pounds) in weight
and sum of width/height/length not to exceed a total of 200 centimeters (80
inches). Flammable items, dangerous liquids and unsealed food items are strictly
prohibited. We are happy to advise on packing and baggage restrictions.
DISCOVERY GROUP (DGL)LTD
and its ticketing agency are not responsible for extended stays made necessary
by weather or other unforeseen circumstances. In all cases we reserve the right
to remove any passenger at any time from one of our tours, without compensation,
and entirely at the passengers own expense.
SMOKING
is not allowed on our tours.
SEATBELTS
must be worn by passengers where provided and where required by law.

and our ticketing agency do not own, operate or manage hotel, motor coach,
financial institution, train, airline, cruise, ferry, transportation, insurance
provider, ticket issuer, security company, guide service. We assume no
responsibility or liability for companies we have retained or contracted on your
behalf for any reason.
INSURANCE CLAIMS
require a statement signed by a physician and other supporting documentation as
required by our insurance provider.
HEALTH CONCERNS AND TRAVEL
ADVISORIES Please consult your family physician regarding possible quarantines,
personal health issues, inoculations, vaccines or other medical advice
pertaining to domestic or international travel.
